Israel Bonds Hosted an Intimate Farewell Dinner Honoring FIDF National Director and Chief Executive Officer Major General (Res.) Meir Klifi-Amir

On September 9, 2020, Israel Bonds hosted an intimate farewell dinner honoring FIDF National Director and Chief Executive Officer Major General (Res.) Meir Klifi-Amir at Avra in New York City. General Klifi-Amir brought the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) to levels never achieved before - expanding its fundraising capabilities, opening new chapters around the U.S., and raising more than $570 million from 2015-2019. Under his leadership, FIDF was able to increase its support for the Israel Defense Forces, helping 114% more soldiers than in prior years, according to the Jerusalem Post. With gratitude, Bonds President and CEO Israel Maimon said, "You are a true example of how a CEO of a major Jewish organization should act in regards to his commitment to Israel and to the cause. And, you are a true role model for me."
