Administrative Assistant, Los Angeles, CA
 
Duties will include:
  • Working in partnership with, and in support of, executive director and registered sales representatives
  • Safeguard confidentiality on all business matters 
  • Manage information and tasks in the company’s database including producing customer and sales reports
  • Facilitate billing as needed
  • Assist with events including coordinating/maintaining invitation lists and attending events if needed
  • Assist with additional projects and other duties as required by management
Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in a sales environment
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience working with customer relationship management databases
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with clients using the highest level of customer service.

Customer Service Representative, New York, NY
 
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for DCI’s first level contact with its customers, Fiscal Agent, sales representatives, and DCI’s offices. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Respond to all service requests and inquiries in a professional manner
  • Identify, research and resolve customer service issues/problems including:
    • Lost bonds and certificates
    • Non-receipts of bonds or interest
    • Status of bonds and certificates
    • Broker issues
    • Registration changes
    • Transactions required to be executed by law
    • Miscellaneous issues
  • Acknowledge, in writing, customer inquiries in accordance with the regulatory requirements
  • Record Customer Information Form information and contact customer or sales representative to complete missing information when necessary
  • Track assigned pending customer inquiries
  • Prepare detailed holdings information on request
  • Recognize, document and alert the manager of trends in customer calls
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Provide hands-on training assistance to new full-time associates and temporary  employees
  • Cross-train in processing tasks to cover as necessary
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Licensing Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of  2-3 years relevant experience
  • Strong oral, written, analytical, listening, persuasion and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all our clients
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and DCI proprietary applications (IBIS, etc.); ability to learn customer service software applications and Fiscal Agent system

The ideal team member will have a strong record of success, ideally selling financial products or in development and fundraising.
