Registered Representative, Miami, FL

The Registered Representative is responsible for the creation and development of an Israel bonds sales campaign in their region, under the direction of the vice president for sales and executive director. The registered representative also offers professional advice to clients, guidance on which product is most suitable for them, and is responsible for organizing and coordinating sales events with lay leaders to maintain and drive sales within the community.
 
Reports To: Vice President, Sales
Manager: Executive Director
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 
Develop and conduct sales functions and events, a primary method for the sale of Israel bonds, including:

  • Helping prepare budgets
  • Recommending honorees
  • Assisting in the formation and operation of event committees
  • Advising on criteria for attendees
  • Deciding upon and obtaining speakers for events
  • Preparing letters
  • Negotiating with vendors
  • Pre-sales activities
  • Coordinating with lay leaders
  • Bond sales solicitation
  • Developing and conducting follow-up activities after events
  • Prepare an annual business plan alongside the manager relating to goal achievements 
  • Assess and decide upon the appropriate local market for communal and individual sales activity
  • Conduct "Know Your Customer" analysis to determine which product is most suitable based on the customer's situation and needs; such analysis includes a review of information such as customer's financial status, tax status, and investment objectives
  • Solicit bond sales from existing customer base
  • Cultivate new customer groups and organizations
  • Recognize red/yellow flags for anti-money laundering program and elevate, as appropriate
  • Make telephone solicitations for bond sales
  • Handle telephone and in-person customer inquiries
  • Provide general customer service
  • Manage customer database and update as necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience  in sales, business development and/or relationship management
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required. DCI will provide training and support where necessary
  • Knowledge of the American-Jewish community, Israel's history and current social/ political/economic situation
  • Strong written, oral, analytical, listening and persuasion skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; will train on DCI proprietary applications (IBIS, etc.) 
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Project Manager

The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the coordination of Marketing & Communications department projects. These duties include, but are not limited to, working in a high-paced environment with members of the Marketing & Communications team and Israel Bonds’ staff and leadership; cross-functionally with other departments within the organization, regional offices and their respective staff, with vendors to coordinate print/production jobs, and the administration of awards from national and branch offices given to investors and honorees. 
 
Reports To: National Director, Marketing & Communications
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Digital Projects and Print Inventory Management

  • Coordinate all digital and print jobs for the national and regional offices
  • Work directly with managers, members of the Marketing team, including frequent communication with designers, providing them direction and immediate updates on all projects in the pipeline for national and regional offices
  • Process work orders, ad orders, manage and maintain department inbox, fulfill accounting needs including invoices for digital and print ads
  • Track and manage evidence of compliance approvals of ads
  • Maintain image and photography licensing agreements
  • Take ownership of all event and delegation materials, all flyers, roll-ups/event promotional materials, investment and invitation materials, cards and brochures
  • Involvement in special projects pertaining to company website, manage with web developer accordingly as per the needs of the project
  • Other digital and print materials relating to specific events or delegations
  • Communicate with staff when materials are introduced, being retired, or are altered
Awards Administration
 
  • Procure awards from vendor for national and regional offices
  • Communicate with vendor about pricing, inscriptions, and order fulfillment
  • Manage award inventory
OTHER DUTIES
 
  • Facilitate workflow of department status report, issue updates daily
  • Track and manage department members’ attendance on timesheet software, provide reports to HR
  • Update organization intranet with new materials/and or remove outdated materials
  • Maintain national email calendar, coordinate and disseminate all email campaigns
Such other duties include as directed by the National Director of Marketing and Communications as he/she deems appropriate and necessary to meet the needs of Marketing and Communications Department.

Registered Representative

Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking a Registered Representative for its Columbus, OH office with responsibilities for Central and Southern Ohio and Kentucky. The ideal team member will have a strong record of success selling financial products or in development and fundraising. Knowledge of the greater Columbus Jewish community and Israel's history and current geo-political environment are required. You must have the ability and desire to work independently and as a team player. Occasional travel required.

  • Proactively managing Israel Bonds current client-base

National New Leadership Director

Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking a National New Leadership Director for its New York City Midtown office who will have responsibility for developing and increasing the number of New Leadership across the country through events, partnerships and new markets. Must have knowledge of the local and national Jewish community. Travel is expected for this position.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with and report to the Vice President, Sales to develop and strengthen Israel Bonds New Leadership
  • Correspond with Executive Directors, Registered Representatives, and lay leaders across the country to establish, develop and utilize local Councils, create successful and attractive local events, and facilitate partnerships with local organizations
  • Oversee National New Leadership activities, including those for the National Council as well as national events, programming and delegations in which all New Leadership take part
  • Develop new targeted conferences and delegations to Israel for New Leadership
  • Work with Marketing on all National New Leadership projects including New Leadership page on website, New Leadership Facebook Page, events calendar, quarterly newsletters and other national e-blasts. Maintain New Leadership page on internal company portal (Inside DCI) and track all New Leadership event reporting, invitations and photos (to serve as a resource for employee involvement with New Leadership)
  • Coordinate National New Leadership event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations
  • Develop and maintain department budget
  • Develop and conduct follow-up activities after events (e.g., working with local offices and Marketing on social media-related follow-up, managing contact lists and sending follow-up emails)

Call Center Registered Representative

Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking a Call Center Registered Representative for its New York City Midtown office. The representative will be responsible for servicing the company’s national client base of new and existing investors through exceptional client service via telephone, assisting primarily in transactions of new bond purchases and maturity reinvestments.
 
Duties include: 

  • Manage high volume of inbound calls and conduct outbound calls to new and existing clients seeking to make new purchases or reinvest maturing bonds
  • Maintain communication and correspondence with clients regarding transactions and new account openings
  • Perform KYC analysis and offer professional advice to clients as to which product is most suitable for investment based on the client’s financial profile and needs
  • Support online sales by assisting customers with online bond purchases, linking client accounts and other online support functions
  • Assist with sales events and functions by soliciting invited guests in advance
  • Coordinate with local sales representatives as well as processing teams to supervise transaction processing
  • Demonstrate an understanding of bond investments and interest rate movements

Online Support/Sales Admin

Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking an Online Support/Sales Admin to join its New York City Midtown office. The individual will report to the National Director and will be responsible for servicing the company’s national client base of investors who are seeking to make new bond purchases through our e-commerce website and/or smartphone app, as well as providing administrative support to sales representatives.
 
Duties include: 

  • Manage inbound calls from clients seeking assistance in creating an online profile, linking their accounts, and/or making new purchases through our online website and/or our smartphone app
  • Support sales by conducting outbound calls to clients who register for an online profile
  • Maintain communication and correspondence with clients regarding online transactions and new account openings
  • Support sales representatives by organizing and administering investment paperwork and client correspondence
  • Conduct outbound calls to clients to follow up with maturing or matured bonds
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as assigned by the National Director
  • Coordinate with sales representatives as well as processing teams to supervise transaction processing
