Director of Internal Audit

The Development Corporation for Israel is currently seeking a Director of Internal Audit for its New York City midtown office who will be responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of the annual audit plan for the company. Internal Audit conducts, on a national basis, audits of each corporate department and office location and disseminates reports containing analysis, appraisals, recommendations, and information on activities reviewed during the audit.

The Director of Internal Audit will manage the ongoing risk assessment process, plan and conduct corporate, operational, financial, compliance and system development audits and field audits of branch and satellite offices in the United States and abroad and issue reports of findings and recommendations, follow-up on audit findings to ascertain implementation of corrective actions and recommendations, conduct annual anti-money laundering (“AML”) reviews, establish and direct the strategic short and long-term goals, policies, and procedures for the Internal Audit Department, work with department heads and office directors and other employees in recommending and implementing improvements and enhancements in systems and procedures and perform such other duties as directed by the President/CEO or the Audit Committee Chairperson as deemed appropriate and necessary to meet the needs of the organization. 

Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 7 years of audit experience. FINRA Series 24 license required but will offer training if necessary, self-starter with project management skills, strong PC skills required, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to learn DCI’s proprietary software applications. Experience in a broker/dealer environment preferred.


Financial Sales/Development Professional 


Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking an experienced Financial Sales or Development Professional for its Washington office located in North Bethesda, Maryland who will have responsibility for soliciting and closing individual, institutional and organizational investments in Israel Bonds. Duties will include proactively managing Israel Bonds’ current client-base, cultivating new investors, and planning and executing existing and new events. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of success, ideally selling financial products or in development and fundraising. Successful candidate will organize sales campaigns involving New Leadership, synagogues and several regional communities. Knowledge of the local Jewish community and Israel’s history and current geo-political environment are required. You must have the ability and desire to work independently and as a team player. Some travel required. 

Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years of sales or development/fundraising experience. FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are required for the position. Israel Bonds will provide training and support to obtain the licenses where necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a track record of closing sales or solicitations is a must. 


Administrative Assistant 
 

Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for its Washington office located in North Bethesda, Maryland to provide support to management and its team of registered representatives. Duties will include the handling of all administrative tasks including, but not limited to, contacting clients needing support in completing online purchase requests, answering telephone calls, word processing and such other duties as required by management.
 
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with an aptitude to learn proprietary software. Organized with strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work flexible hours.

Knowledge of the local Jewish community and Israel’s history and current geo-political environment are required. You must have ability and desire to work independently and as a team player.
