In celebration of International Women’s Day, on March 8 Israel Bonds Women’s Division held an event over Zoom with Dana International, Israeli pop diva and Eurovision song contest winner, with Yigal Ravid, Israel’s Eurovision host, as emcee. The virtual gathering featured an exclusive interview with Dana from Tel Aviv, as she expressed enthusiasm for being an advocate for female empowerment, freedom and social justice, throughout her career spanning over 23 years.



Acknowledging the difficult challenges faced by women globally, both personally and professionally, Dana stated, “Women should be united in an effort to help each other, and with over half of the population of the world, women must have their rights and power equaled.” Dana graciously connected with fans and addressed topics including human rights and the LGBT community, the road to normalcy post-COVID-19, and reuniting with fans all over the world once safe to do so.
