Israel’s Minister of the Interior Ayelet Shaked spoke at an in-person Israel Bonds event November 11 at New York’s Harmonie Club. A member of Israel’s security cabinet, Minister Shaked discussed a range of topics, including passage of a new two-year budget, Iran, the Abraham Accords and the nation’s booming tech sector. She spoke warmly of the Bonds enterprise, emphasizing, “What you are doing is a great mitzvah. In my mind, Israel Bonds is a very, very important organization.” Bonds President & CEO Israel Maimon welcomed Minister Shaked by noting, “We have two commonalities in our respective life stories: we proudly served in the Golani Brigade, and share Iraqi heritage as well.”
