Position Summary: 

The processor will enter and maintain a variety of information pertaining to the sale of all instruments marketed by DCI. The processor will run related reports and forms as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Receive payments for bonds purchases.
  • Examine and approve all source documents received for the purchase of securities. Pull discrepancies for correction, deliver discrepancies to the team leader for rejection, and obtain corrected data for input.
  • Process all transactions including reinvestments into our automated systems. Verifies data entry and produce confirmation letters.
  • Reviews and identifies discrepancies for correction and verifies that corrections are accurate.
  • Produces confirmation letters and summary reports which are forwarded to the fiscal agent to process.
  • Provide assistance and training to new employees, temps, and interns. 
  • Cross train in customer service tasks.

Other Duties: Such other duties as directed by the Team Leader/Central Processing Manager as he/she/they deem appropriate and necessary to meet the needs of the Central Processing Department. Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Licensing Requirements

  • One year minimum of previous data entry experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Highly skilled data entry ability including speed and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn customer service software applications.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a sedentary role; however, this position requires constant communication and the ability to exchange accurate information, the ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, lift files, open filing cabinets and bend, or stand, as necessary.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 35 hours per week. Work extended/evening hours when needed.

TRAVEL: Travel is not expected for this position.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must successfully pass background check, and fingerprinting (if applicable)
