Jewish community leaders from across Palm Beach County gathered last month at Temple Torat Emet in Boynton Beach for the 36^th annual Israel Bonds Sermon Seminar, a longstanding tradition that helps local rabbis prepare for the High Holy Days and engage their congregations in conversations about Israel.

Mark Sack has been appointed as the chair of the Israel Bonds Cleveland Campaign Advisory Council, taking over for Rabbi Rosette “Rosie” Barron Haim, who died in May. The announcement was made on Sept. 8.

State treasurers, comptrollers, and other public officials have continued to invest and reinvest in Israel Bonds, and in record numbers.

Throughout Israel’s history, in moments of crisis and uncertainty, the Jewish Diaspora has stood alongside the country through Israel Bonds.
