In a moment of profound pride and purpose at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem, Israel Bonds was recognized for 75 years of unwavering commitment to Israel’s economic strength and for standing with the Jewish homeland when it matters most.
JERUSALEM, October 12, 2026 — In a ceremony marked by pride, gratitude, and a powerful affirmation of solidarity with the State of Israel, President Isaac Herzog awarded the Presidential Medal of Honor to Israel Bonds, recognizing the organization’s extraordinary contributions to Israel’s economic development and its enduring role in connecting investors around the world to the Jewish state.
The ceremony, held at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem, brought together more than 100 members of Israel Bonds’ global leadership, representing the United States, Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil. Accepting the prestigious honor on behalf of the organization were Dr. Andrew M. Hutter, U.S. & International Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dani Naveh, Global President & CEO.
The medal represents more than a milestone in the organization’s 75-year history. It is a tribute to generations of investors who have placed their confidence in Israel, a worldwide network of supporters who have stood steadfast through moments of uncertainty, and a shared belief in the strength and future of the Jewish homeland.

A Bond That Has Never Been Stronger
In presenting the medal, President Herzog underscored the vital role Israel Bonds has played in building Israel’s economy, advancing science and technology, and providing critical support in times of crisis.
“The outstanding work by Israel Bonds raised $1 billion of capital in the first month following October 7th, and more than $8.5 billion since that dark day,” President Herzog said.
He continued: “To us, this serves as a solid confirmation that despite attempts to isolate us, the people of Israel never stand alone.”
The President also highlighted the extraordinary legacy behind those figures: More than $58 billion in Israel bonds have been purchased worldwide over the past 75 years, reflecting enduring investor confidence in Israel’s long-term economic standing.
“And we have repaid that trust, never once defaulting, as I am certain we will continue to do,” Herzog affirmed.
His words captured the significance of Israel Bonds’ mission, particularly since October 7, 2023, when the organization’s global community responded with remarkable resolve. In the immediate aftermath of the attacks, investors mobilized to help ensure that Israel had access to vital capital. The result was not simply a financial achievement, but a powerful expression of solidarity at a defining moment in Israel’s history.

An Honor Belonging to Every Investor
For Dani Naveh, accepting the medal was both an extraordinary privilege and a reminder of the responsibility carried by an organization whose mission spans generations.
“Receiving this medal today is an extraordinary honor, but it also carries a profound responsibility,” Naveh said.
“This medal carries with it the weight of generations. We accept it with humility, knowing that we do so only as representatives of a remarkable organization founded 75 years ago. Our powerful message is that, in times of need, our beloved Jewish homeland will never be alone.”
A former Israeli cabinet minister and member of the Knesset, Naveh brings extensive public-sector experience and deep knowledge of Israel’s business and financial communities to his leadership of Israel Bonds. Under his management, the organization has achieved unprecedented success, breaking sales records and reaching historic new milestones.
His remarks reflected the spirit that has animated Israel Bonds throughout its history: a commitment to Israel that is measured not only in words, but in meaningful action.
Dr. Hutter also delivered a heartfelt message, emphasizing that the medal belongs to the worldwide community of investors whose confidence has sustained Israel Bonds across generations.
“Mr. President, we accept this medal not for any one person in this room, but on behalf of every single investor who has ever purchased a bond, who has ever believed in the Jewish State, who has ever said, with their own money, I stand with Israel, I believe in its future. This medal belongs to them.”
It was a fitting tribute to the individuals and institutions whose investments have helped strengthen Israel’s economy while demonstrating an enduring commitment to its future.
75 Years of Building Israel’s Future
Founded in 1951, Israel Bonds has spent three-quarters of a century connecting worldwide investors with Israel’s economic development. Through the sale of Israel bonds, the organization has helped channel capital into the State of Israel while building relationships rooted in confidence, partnership, and shared purpose.
The numbers tell an extraordinary story: more than $58 billion in investments secured globally since the organization’s inception, including more than a record-breaking $8.5 billion since October 7, 2023.
But the meaning behind those numbers is even more powerful.
Every investment represents a vote of confidence in Israel’s future. Every bond reflects a connection between Israel and the people around the world who believe in its resilience, its potential, and its continued growth. And in moments of profound challenge, that connection has become an unmistakable statement: Israel is not alone.
The Presidential Medal of Honor recognizes this legacy while reaffirming the importance of the work ahead. As Israel continues to navigate a complex and uncertain environment, Israel Bonds remains committed to strengthening the country’s economic foundation and sustaining the global partnerships that have helped shape its remarkable journey.
The ceremony at the President’s Residence was a moment to celebrate an extraordinary achievement—and to recognize the people and principles behind it.
For Israel Bonds, this historic honor is both a tribute to 75 years of dedication and a renewed promise for the future: to stand with Israel, to believe in Israel, and to help build Israel’s future—together.
