Executive Director

Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking an Executive Director for an office to be located in San Francisco. The Executive Director will be responsible for implementing a regional strategy to increase the sale of Israel bonds in San Francisco and the surrounding areas. He/she will interact with executive leadership, institutional and retail clients, community leaders and office staff to develop innovative programs to sell bonds issued by the State of Israel.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee implementation of overall sales strategy
  • Create an annual written business plan for the region, to include activities and sales outreach designed to attain the sales target established by the national office
  • Oversee and participate in solicitations for reinvestments and new investments and maintain relationships with significant clients and institutions
  • Act as the prime conduit for high-end individual, institutional and corporate sales
  • Manage the bond financing program locally
  • Supervise the planning and implementation of events and special projects, including solicitation and identification of local honorees
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 7-10 years of sales and management experience
  • FINRA SERIES 7 or 62 and 63 registrations preferred
  • Prior fundraising experience and an interest and/or experience in Israel or Jewish community affairs
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to comfortably interface with all levels of clientele and staff
 

Financial Sales Representative

Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking an experienced Financial Sales or Development Professional for our Atlanta office who will have responsibility for soliciting and closing individual, institutional and organizational investments in Israel Bonds in the Greater Atlanta and surrounding areas. Duties will include proactively managing Israel Bonds’ current client base, cultivating new investors, and planning and executing existing and new events. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of success, ideally selling financial products or in development and fundraising. Knowledge of the local Jewish community and Israel’s history and current geo-political environment are required. The candidate must have ability and desire to work independently and as a team player. Some travel required.

Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years of sales or development/fundraising experience. FINRA Series 7 or 62 and 63 licenses are required for the position. Israel Bonds will provide training and support to obtain the licenses where necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a track record of closing sales or solicitations is a must.


Financial Sales Representative

Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking an experienced Financial Sales or Development Professional for our Chicago office who will have responsibility for soliciting and closing individual, institutional and organizational investments in Israel Bonds in the Greater Chicago and surrounding areas. Duties will include proactively managing Israel Bonds’ current client base, cultivating new investors, and planning and executing existing and new events. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of success, ideally selling financial products or in development and fundraising. Knowledge of the local Jewish community and Israel’s history and current geo-political environment are required. The candidate must have ability and desire to work independently and as a team player. Some travel required.

Knowledge of the Detroit Jewish community and Israel’s history and current geo-political environment are required. You must have ability and desire to work independently and as a team player. Candidate must be well-organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently as he/she will serve as the sole representative in the office. Some travel required.

Customer Service Representative

Development Corporation for Israel/ Israel Bonds is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative in its Midtown New York City office who will be responsible for first level contact with its Fiscal Agent, sales representatives and clients. Duties will include identifying, researching and resolving client service issues and such other assignments as required by the department.  Must have the ability to work independently and as a team player.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 2 to 3 years of customer service experience.  FINRA Series 62 and 63 licenses preferred.
